The Country Club of Vermont
The Country Club of Vermont is a private golf club designed by Graham Cooke and is located in Waterbury Center, approximately eight miles south of Stowe. However, it does allow a LIMITED amount of OUTSIDE PLAY time. This is a world-class course in a peaceful and un-crowded mountain setting. Sitting on over 200 acres with no residential construction, travel between holes is minimal yet each feels secluded, with little or no view of surrounding holes. With five sets of tees per hole, the course is playable for golfers of all levels: the great a player’s ability and imagination, the greater the shot options and potential risks and rewards.
At Jay Peak, the phrase “down to earth” means more than the friendly, casual attitude found in everyone from the greenskeeper to coach David Jankowski. It’s actually about the earth. It’s in the beautiful terrain, the natural waterways, and the manicured greens. It’s the Northern Vermont woods and the wildlife that watches from within. It’s the little details and big ideas implemented by course designer Graham Cooke. At Jay Peak, your game is enhanced by all of this, whether you’re a PGA pro or a first time hack. So come join us for a round and find out what it means to stay grounded while your game takes flight.
